The recall was announced on January 19, 2022. If you have either of the two pacifier models, you should stop using them immediately, Mushie & Co says on their website.

Which Pacifiers were recalled and why?

The two pacifiers recalled on Wednesday, January 19 include the FRIGG Silicone Pacifier Classic and the FRIGG Silicone Pacifier Daisy models. The pacifiers were sold in over 40 colors and came in two sizes: for infants 0 to 6 months and infants 6 to 18 months, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. They were sold in over 40 different colors. The pacifiers were recalled because a small slit in the nipple of the pacifier was making the nipple detach from the base of the pacifier, creating a choking hazard. No injuries have been reported, however.

What do you do if you have a recalled pacifier?

First, as already has been stated, cease use of the pacifiers immediately. You can return the pacifiers for a refund by detaching the base and the nipple of the pacifier and sending a photograph to both pieces of the recalled pacifiers to Mushie & Co at mushie.com/pages/recalls. The recall number for the product is 22-054. If you have questions for the company or need to contact them, call Mushie & Co toll-free at 877-687-4431 Monday through Friday or email at productsafety@mushie.com. Mushie & Co also asks consumers to throw their pacifiers away in the trash.
